Your best audition starts here. Walk into your next audition prepared, confident and ready to perform. Whether you are auditioning for your first production or hoping to land your next leading role, Audition Lab will help you understand what casting panels are really looking for. Working with an experienced casting professional, participants will explore every stage of the process — from preparation and presentation to taking direction and making the most of every opportunity. Along the way, students will receive practical coaching and individual expert advice to help them perform at their very best. Because great auditions are not about being perfect — they are about being prepared.

Get ready to sing, dance and moonwalk your way through the October break! Inspired by the unmistakable music and legendary moves of Michael Jackson, this high-energy performing arts camp invites young performers to step into the spotlight and bring some of pop’s most iconic songs to life. Across the week, participants will work with our professional vocal coach and choreographer to develop their vocal skills, master choreography and grow in confidence as performers. From sharp moves and thrilling routines to big ensemble numbers, every day will build towards an exciting performance for family and friends on the final afternoon. Whether they already love performing or are discovering it for the first time, children can expect an unforgettable week! It’s time to feel the beat!

Step into a magical world of curious creatures and autumn imagination as Simply Theatre transforms into a Halloween Creative Studio. Children will create Halloween-inspired crafts, mysterious props and seasonal keepsakes before using their makes in a playful story led by our professional Simply Theatre team. Through imaginative games and storytelling, everything they create becomes part of the adventure. Warm, welcoming and filled with just the right amount of playful spookiness, it is the perfect Halloween treat for younger children.

The smallest look can tell the biggest story. Step in front of a professional camera and discover the techniques that bring performances to life on screen. Why is acting for the camera so different from acting on stage? Why is hitting your mark just as important as delivering a brilliant performance? And how can continuity make or break a scene? Working with an experienced screen acting coach, students will explore these essential skills before putting everything they have learned into practice and filming a professionally shot scene to take home. Whether you dream of Netflix or Hollywood, or simply want to become a more versatile performer, this immersive course offers an exciting opportunity to discover a completely different side of acting.

Spend the day with a West End star…then take to the stage together! Rehearse, perform and share the spotlight with one of musical theatre’s brightest stars. Whether you are appearing as a soloist, duo or part of a group, Simply Theatre LIVE! offers a rare opportunity to spend the day working with a leading West End performer. Participants will rehearse their material, receive expert coaching and hear first-hand stories and advice from someone who has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages. Then, as the lights go down and the audience takes their seats, it is time to perform. Hosted by, and featuring, our special guest, Simply Theatre LIVE! culminates in a joyful evening of musical theatre celebrating performers of all ages. Whether you are taking your first steps onto the stage or already love performing, this is your chance to learn from the best, grow in confidence and become part of a truly special live show. A festive session for parents, friends and anyone who loves a little Christmas creativity. Step away from the Christmas rush and enjoy a relaxed session of creativity, seasonal refreshments and festive cheer. Guided by an experienced wreath maker, you will create your own beautiful handmade wreath using fresh seasonal foliage, natural decorations and festive finishing touches—all in a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with Christmas music, twinkling lights and seasonal treats. Whether you are catching up with friends, planning a festive date night or simply treating yourself, it is the perfect opportunity to slow down, get creative and leave with a stunning wreath you will be proud to hang on your front door.

Students from every academy are welcome to join this trip.

WEST END TRIP Three unforgettable days. Two world-class shows. One incredible experience. There is nothing quite like seeing musical theatre where it all happens. Join us in the heart of London’s West End for three days packed with spectacular performances, behind-the-scenes discoveries and memories that will last a lifetime.  This year’s trip includes tickets to two of the world’s biggest productions—Hamilton and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child — alongside a special theatre workshop led by a member of the West End Company, offering students a unique insight into life as a professional performer.  We will also explore some of London’s most famous sights, discover the magic behind the curtain on a backstage theatre tour and enjoy plenty of time with friends who share the same passion for theatre.  Whether you dream of performing in the West End one day or simply love live theatre, this is a trip guaranteed to inspire. Flights departing from and returning to Geneva and Zurich*. (*numbers dependent)

Discover what it really takes to train like a professional actor. Designed for students aged 14+, this two-day intensive offers the chance to experience professional actor training inspired by the UK’s leading conservatoires.  Working with specialist tutors from leading UK drama schools, you will explore acting, movement, voice and ensemble performance through a challenging programme of practical workshops. Along the way, you will discover the pace, creativity and collaboration at the heart of professional training.  Across the weekend, you will work as part of an acting company: developing new techniques, creating original performance material and experiencing the rehearsal process from first idea to final studio sharing. Whether you are beginning to think seriously about drama school, looking to challenge yourself or simply curious to discover a new way of training, this intensive will build your confidence, develop your craft and give you a genuine taste of life as a drama school student.

Can your team think creatively, perform under pressure and rise to every challenge? Simply Theatre Games is an action-packed day of creativity, teamwork and theatrical adventure, where young performers compete in a series of challenges inspired by everything from Taskmaster and The Crystal Maze to drama-school devising and live performance. Working in teams, participants will tackle creative missions, solve problems, earn points and push their imaginations to the limit. Then, supported by professional directors, each team must devise and rehearse an original performance inspired by the mystery of The Missing Script. The day culminates in a spectacular evening event for family and friends. Each team will take to the stage before the final scores are revealed, the winners are crowned and the first Simply Theatre Games Champions are announced. Will your team rise to the challenge?
