Simply Theatre is Switzerland’s leading English-speaking theatre school and performing arts training company. ** UPDATE – We will be launching in Lausanne on Friday 8th September with weekly drama courses for ages 7 to 18 years.**
New Student Trial Period
At Simply Theatre, instilling a passion and love of theatre is at the heart of the opportunities we provide. It is very important for us that the students that are in our courses, want to be there and love being there! With the exception of specific trial classes in May, we do not offer one-week trial classes. Students need several weeks to understand whether this is an activity they want to keep doing all year long. We therefore set the whole first half term to end October as a trial period for new students. During this time, should a student decide to leave, then any unused fees are refunded. In time we plan to increase our offer of courses in Lausanne to include Performing Arts (acting, singing and dancing) for Stages 1 to 3, as well as drama and Performing Arts courses for Minis (ages 4-6).

Weekly Courses in Lausanne
All of our academy courses have their own specially designed rolling curriculum, our objective is to offer complete and exciting opportunities for those who may be with us for one or two years, whilst also providing life-long learning based on a rich set of contrasting experiences for our long-term students.
Summer Camps in Lausanne
Simply Summer! is our series of holiday courses at the Academy from June to August each summer for ages 4 to 18. Looking ahead, we hope to offer summer camps in Lausanne in Summer 2024. Our week-long drama and performing arts summer camp workshops offer children an opportunity to work with experienced theatre practitioners specialising in acting, vocal coaching, choreography and even stage combat and movie-making! Our expert tutors come from across the world of theatre and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with our students, to create workshops that are simply wonderful. Simply Theatre Productions
Our magical theatre productions are the icing on the cake, broadening our student’s cultural experiences and providing high-quality theatre to English-speaking audiences in Switzerland. Our academy productions feature student actors from Simply Theatre Academy. Professionally directed, they stretch young talent to deliver electrifying performances. Our Professional shows for young people and families bring a slice of the West End to Switzerland each year. We currently have a full season of shows planned in Geneva and Zurich for 2023-4.
