Description
In addition to skills developed on our stage 3 drama course, students are introduced to techniques taught at the major accredited drama schools in the UK. At this stage, students have the opportunity to explore acting skills at a more mature level and advance their experiences as a performer. Students on our stage 4 classes gain so much more than acting skills. Their communication skills grow considerably as they prepare for life after high school.
The Stage 4 year is different in structure to the other stages.
- Term 1 is focused on Building the Ensemble with initial stages of rehearsal for their showcase introduced after half-term.
- Term 2 is the Showcase term where students will rehearse and perform their play in the theatre to an audience.
- Term 3 is where students Explore the World. Learning in acting skills continues with a special focus on specific theatre styes and genres. The content of this term will change year by year and provide further opportunities for fun and enriching project work.
The Stage 4 Drama Course is 90 minutes per week
